Reflections from a 100-Day Solo Business Challenge
The Beginning
100 days ago, I set out on a challenge for myself:
To run my business completely solo — no team, no staff, no shortcuts.Just me, showing up daily with intention, grit, and hope.
And today, I made it.
Along the Way
There were moments I felt energized and inspired And there were days I questioned everything. There were invoices to send, shipments to pack, content to create, and doubt to wrestle with.
But there were also small wins. Moments of clarity. Unexpected messages from people who believed in what I was building. Likes and comments on posts that reminded me — someone out there was watching.
Hopes on the Road
Midway through, I took a Mediterranean cruise.
But even then, Hopes traveled with me — not just in my suitcase, but in my mindset.
Wearing Hopes on the streets of Marseille. Sticking a Hopes sticker on an Italian postbox.
Snapping photos with the ocean breeze and that white Hopes cap.
It reminded me that this wasn’t just a productivity experiment. It was a deep, personal practice in resilience, creativity, and self-trust.
What I Learned
Here are 3 lessons I’m taking with me:
1. Set small, honest goals.
Tiny steps really do compound.
2. I don’t have to do everything, or do it perfectly.
But I do have to keep going ... with intention, boundaries and joy.
3. Celebrate yourself often.
We rarely pause to acknowledge how far we've come. This challenge taught me to do just that.
The Pause
So here’s to Day 100:
To every task I finished, every post I shared, very doubt I overcame. To the rhythm I’m still learning to dance to.
To those who walk this solo path — I see you. It's hard. It's beautiful. And it's worth it.
The journey doesn’t end here. But today, I pause, breathe, and say:
I’m proud of myself.
